This blog was initially started back in October and I haven't made a post since (and I humbly apologize for that), but as the economic crunch worsened, not posting has given me a chance to do much needed research. As many of us have experienced eating/drinking out is a luxury that everyone cannot afford and as a result, restaurants and bars are hurting just like other businesses. I know times are hard but sometimes a cocktail/ night out may be exactly what's necessary to help take your mind off of the craziness.
So if you do decide to help stimulate the economy by going for a drink here are a couple of tips.
1.)TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SPECIALS. Restaurants and bars are trying any and everything possible to continue bringing people in...take TGI Fridays for example. They were advertising drink specials for everyday of the week. Anything from $2 beers/margaritas to $4 Long Island Ice Teas. Check out your local watering hole to see what they have.
2.) TOP SHELF ISN'T ALWAYS THE BEST CHOICE. True, for the best cocktails you want to use the top of the line liquors, but now a days smart drinking is the best drinking and there's nothing wrong with having something that is a step or two down. I may not know a lot about rum (yet), but I do know that Bacardi & Coke is cheap everywhere (averaging $5 in most places) and if I'm out with friends, I can drink it all night. It gets the job done without having me completely wasted.
So remember that it is possible to have a good time (if you drink) without breaking the bank.
Good blog... very interesting!!! thanks

All people deserve good life time and loans or short term loan can make it better. Just because freedom depends on money state.
